Tim Wakefield, Pink Sox Corridor Of Famer, Lifeless At 57
MLB star Tim Wakefield, who performed for the Boston Pink Sox for over a decade, has died at age 57. “Our hearts are damaged with the lack of Tim Wakefield. Wake embodied true goodness; a loyal husband, father, and teammate, beloved broadcaster, and the last word neighborhood chief. He gave a lot to the sport and all of Pink Sox Nation,” the Pink Sox wrote in a press release shared on X, previously referred to as Twitter.
The tragic information of Wakefield’s demise follows the current revelation that the MLB veteran was recognized with mind most cancers. “Tim Wakefield is sick,” former MLB participant Curt Schilling shared on his eponymous podcast. “Not too long ago, Tim was recognized with a really severe, [and] aggressive type of mind most cancers.” Through the episode, Schilling added that Wakefield had undergone surgical procedure for his situation whereas revealing that his spouse, Stacy Stover, had obtained a pancreatic most cancers prognosis in 2023.
Following information of Wakefield’s demise, followers have taken to social media to pay tributes to the MLB legend. “It is not fairly often I’ve no phrases. In the present day I’ve none. Tears, sure. Unhappiness, sure. Tim Wakefield has handed away. Relaxation In Peace among the best males I’ve recognized,” Jerry Trupiano, former Boston Pink Sox play-by-play announcer, wrote in a tweet.
