Matt LeBlanc has damaged his silence on his “Mates” co-star, Matthew Perry’s, tragic demise.
On October 28, 2023, Perry tragically handed away at 54 after an obvious drowning in his dwelling, per TMZ. Perry, who famously performed Chandler Bing on “Mates,” touched the lives of many and have become beloved actor alongside along with his 5 different co-stars. Due to how pivotal of a task “Mates” performed in his life and the lives of others, many had been ready to see what his co-stars would say about his tragic passing. Initially, all of them saved comparatively silent about Perry’s sudden demise, however LeBlanc has since shared a touching tribute to Perry.
LeBlanc performed Joey Tribbiani in “Mates,” and was Perry’s on-screen BFF, and it appears that evidently friendship was simply as true off-screen. In a heartbreaking Instagram publish, LeBlanc shared a number of photographs of him and Perry throughout their time on “Mates.” He wrote, “Matthew, It’s with a heavy coronary heart I say goodbye. The instances we had collectively are actually among the many favourite instances of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and to name you my good friend,” he continued, “I’ll all the time smile once I consider you and I will always remember you. By no means. Unfold your wings and fly brother you are lastly free. A lot love.” Seeing as LeBlanc and Perry had been each comedic actors, he completed his tribute with a joke. He stated, “And I assume you are maintaining the 20 bucks you owe me.”
